Razstava je nastala v sodelovanju z Mestno galerijo Nova Gorica in bo na ogled do 10. novembra 2024.
Risba v zadnjem času doživlja velik vzpon popularnosti. Priljubljena je tako pri gledalcih kot pri umetnikih. Razstava Risomanija želi biti celovit prikaz možnosti, zaradi katerih je risba za mlajšo in srednjo generacijo tako aktualna. Na njej je predstavljenih trinajst risark in risarjev, med njimi se jih veliko posveča zgolj risbi. Njihovo navdušenje nad tem medijem ni naključno, saj ga usmerja širok spekter možnosti tega medija, ki na popoln način utelešajo značilnosti sodobnega časa. Na prvem mestu sta neposrednost in vsestranskost risbe ter hitrost beleženja hipnih zamisli, izrazov in konceptov v širokem razponu od elementarne črne črte na beli podlagi, barvne in digitalne risbe pa do snovne risbe v izrezankah. Risomanija bo govorila o strastnem odnosu do risarskega medija pri generaciji »tukaj in zdaj«. Bo prikaz raznovrstnih možnosti, ki jih ponuja risba, od avtonomne in pripravljalne, frontalne, izrazne, slikovite, prostorske, zinske, animatorske, stripovske, snovne, ilustratorske risbe in njene izpovedne univerzalnosti, ko lahko prikaže poetično idejo, odsev zunanjega sveta, eksperiment, hipotezo …
Drawing has recently experienced a huge surge in popularity. It is popular with both viewers and artists. The exhibition Drawomania aims to be a comprehensive representation of the possibilities that make drawing so relevant for the younger and middle generation. Thirteen cartoonists are represented, many of whom work exclusively in drawing. Their enthusiasm for this medium is not accidental, as it is guided by the wide range of possibilities of this medium, which embodies in a perfect way the characteristics of contemporary times. First and foremost is the immediacy and versatility of drawing and the speed with which instant ideas, expressions and concepts can be recorded, ranging from the elementary black line on a white background, colour and digital drawing to the material drawing in cut-outs. Risomania will speak about the passionate relationship to the medium of drawing among the “here and now” generation. It will be a demonstration of the diverse possibilities offered by drawing, from autonomous and preparatory, frontal, expressive, pictorial, spatial, zine, animator, comic, material, illustrator drawing and its confessional universality, when it can show a poetic idea, a reflection of the outside world, an experiment, a hypothesis…
